The two have been teammates for years on the Chicago Bulls and while Luol Deng is preparing for tonight's NBA All-Star, Derrick Rose is pondering when he'll return to the court. Deng shared his thoughts to the media about his teammate Rose.
“I want fans to understand that this guy wants to play more than anyone,” Deng said. “He wants to play more than you, and he wants to play more than the fans. He’s working hard. He’s in the gym before everyone. When everyone is leaving, he’s still taking care of his knee. He really wants to come back and be better than he was.”
“Because of what he has done and the kind of person he is, people have to trust the decisions he makes....He’s going to make the best decision for him and the best decision for the team....I keep telling him he shouldn’t play until he feels 100 percent,” Deng said. “He really shouldn’t, just for the future. The decision shouldn’t be on how the team is doing but how he feels.”
well said this is a real career ending injury to take care of plus it wouldn't do much. rose ball hard (.) & with the talent he'd be facing in the east he'll end up reinjuring himself. ANY OTHER ROUTE WOULD BE IDIOTIC.
ReplyDeletecompletely agree rose should start of fresh next season as much as we would love to see him play just focus on your game and come back stronger then ever
