Rumors again surfaced this week that the Brooklyn Nets are again interested in acquiring the services of Dwight Howard with Brook Lopez being the center piece of the deal leaving Brooklyn. Before Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, Nets guard Deron Williams addressed the rumors of a potential trade.
“I’m not gonna get into that,” Williams said. “We’re happy with Brook. Brook is our center. He’s having an All-Star year, so I don’t see Brook going anywhere....I talked to Brook about it last night. He don’t pay attention to it. It’s all rumors and sources. Sources are not credible to me. Until you can put a name on this source, it’s not credible.”
I dont blame d will but i hope the lakers dont want lopez injury proned ass either
ReplyDeleteHoward is injury prone also but atleast lopez having a wining sesson
DeleteHe has been this year. Its been a problem lopez whole career tho. Besides lakers dont need another big, they need help on the perimeter.
DeleteI agree...lopez is having a waaay better season than howard and howard is just as injury prone lopez
DeleteLike i said i dont blame d will. I wouldnt trade lopez for howard right now either but lopez is not wat the lakers need is all im saying.
DeleteThe rumor was D12 to the Nets, Love to the Lakers and Lopez to Timberwolves with fillers. It's hard to trade an injured player so idk about that working out. The Nets found their identity so I wouldn't mess up the team with Howard's immaturity.
DeleteDamn right. And wat do the timberwovles not like about pekovic at center?? Dude is a animal n the paint
DeleteLAKERS GOT RAPED AGAIN.... These niggas couldnt buy a win... 0-7 on the road
ReplyDeleteSoooo u actually thought they was gonna beat the grizz lastnite?
DeletePeaches done lost faith in his team lmao they gonna lose to utah and the thunder too in the next 2 games
DeleteIts called being real wit yo self , do u know wat that is? As long as the lakers have this roster playing that style im not expecting anything more than a L not unless there playing another sorry team n the east.
DeleteThey havent beat any of the top teams in the east either
DeleteI know exactly how you feel, Preach. I root for the Celtics every night, but I don't bullshit myself on teams that I know will probably beat them. I wouldn't count the Lakers or the Celtics out yet, though.
DeleteI understand where preach is coming from. I'm a die hard sixers fan so i know what losing is. We have so much potential and solid players but yet we still go on an 8 game losing streak, but regardless I still say their going to be the best in the east. I still haven't lost faith. That's being a true fan to your team, even tho their losing, you think they'll be going on a 10 game winning streak soon.
ReplyDeleteYou're just in denial if you think the Sixers are winning 10 straight without a healthy, motivated Bynum. You are a true fan for still routing for them while they're losing games.
