Brooklyn Nets guard Deron Williams production has dropped since he's became a Net almost two years ago, His shooting percentage has dropped from a career 46% down to 39% for this season and his point production is down as well along with his assists with are down since he was traded from the Jazz. Tonight Williams will face his former team who he's 0-2 against and recently spoke to the media about the different offensive sets.
“I was injured the first year. I really had injuries I was dealing with the whole time. And didn’t have the talent around me that I did there. And that system [in Utah] was a great system for my style of play. I’m a system player. I loved Coach [Jerry] Sloan’s system. I loved the offense there. We could’ve been a really good team, we just weren’t that good defensively as a group.’’
Should have stayed! Him and the crew now that the jazz have would be great!
ReplyDeleteThat's true but the jazz wouldn't have allot of the players they have now if they didn't trade him. They wouldn't have favors. They wouldn't have Marvin Williams cuz they traded him for Harris who they got from the nets. They wouldn't have mo cuz he wouldn't have signed if deron was in Utah and if mo didn't sign I don't think Randy foye would have signed if mo didn't so I think in the long run the jazz are a better team because they traded him. He was going to leave in three years anyway so he would be gone by now
ReplyDeleteDidnt he run sloan outa utah tho?
ReplyDeleteYeah and he made sloan retire. That's why the Utah fans boo when he comes back to play against the jazz
