Jerry Stackhouse, 38, understands that one has to change his game as one evolves from an athletic superstar into an efficient veteran.  During his time with the Heat organization a couple of years ago, Stackhouse worked with Wade and stressed the importance of changing one's game as they mature and he recently shared his thoughts on Wade to the media.

"He's not able to jump over guys. It's just about being smarter. He's tremendously smart. I think the transition for him will be easy. It's tough. In my mind, I still think I can do everything that I did when I was 25. In actuality, I can't. It's just about trying to figure out your spots....He still has two or three years of still playing at a high athletic level, but he needs to start doing it before you get to that point. A lot of guys get there and aren't thinking about it prior to it. It kind of helps that transition a bit."
