Pierce talks retirement

Celtics forward Paul Pierce is 35 years of age and is beginning to see the end of his long NBA journey. Recently he shared his thoughts about the matter to the media.
“I have one year on my contract beyond this year, and then that could be it,” he said with a shrug. “Look at my age.....I’m going to really sit back and look at it when I’m done....Right now, I’m surfing the wave. When I land on the beach and look up at the recordings of what I’ve done, and I see how high the wave was, and how long I went, then I’ll probably appreciate it a little more.”
