More fines to come for the Spurs?

During the 2007 NBA season, Spurs forward/center Tim Duncan accused NBA official Joey Crawford of challenging him to a fight during a game which prompted the NBA to suspend Crawford for the rest of the season. The photo emerged recently, seemingly from a Halloween party depicting Tim Duncan and Tony Parker leading a fake "Joey Crawford" to his execution. Obviously the picture was meant to be a joke and never intended to be leaked out but we all know that NBA Commissioner David Stern has been trigger happy lately. Don't be surprised if Duncan or Parker are disciplined for the picture.
No surprise is gonna be made here,,stern just wants money simple as that.
ReplyDeleteThe players union cant let that happen. How can u fine somebody for a joke that didnt even happen at a game or event. I hate crawford even more than i hate stern. Hes always showing up the players, i remember that game. He ejected duncan for laughing...and he was on the bench! Joey crwaford has a ego bigger than most players and hes not that great of a official. Makes me wonder how he still has a job.

That should tell u somethin about crawford. The whole spurs organization is classy so if they feel this way about a reff than u know its somethin. Crawford thought duncan embarrassed him thats why he wanted to fight, but its cool for crawford to embarrass players and coaches which hes done many times thru the years. Not saying the nba is fixed atleast hope not but i definitely think stern has a couple of reffs n his back pocket to help sway the momentem of certain games that the league wants to determine the winner. Crawford is 1 of those guys...why else does he still have a job? Challenging a player to fight when u suppose to b keeping order is way to far over the line.

It's a joke. Do we all honesty think lil French Parker and Caribbean boy Duncan will actual kill a white bald ref? David Stern sit ur Ass down and enjoy ur legacy of being the boss of one the most watched indoor shows you helped made exciting and stop fucking with people.
