Celtics looking to make a move?

The Boston Celtics are currently seeded 8th (12-11) in the eastern conference and they still feel that they can contend for a top spot in the east. It's been apparent that something has been missing thus far this season as the team chemistry hasn't been there. Guard Avery Bradley returned to practice this week and with his return the Celtics will have a log jam at the guard spot. The team's desire is to acquire another big and Courtney Lee's name has come up as possible trade bait. Lee recently signed a 4 year $21 million deal with the Celtics but his season thus far has been underwhelming as he is shooting just 28% from beyond the arc after having a career average of 38%.
4 years 21 mill? A decent player but they overpaid for him. Gonna b hard to move that contract and ive been saying boston shouldve stayed big, shouldve atleast kept darko on roster. They dont have finish games like that but k.g. just not physical enough to play all his minutes at the 5 spot.
ReplyDeleteThey cut darko because he had to go back to his country and take care of his sick mother ..they had no choice ....I personally think they should trade lee bass and fab melo for gortat ..then sign kmart as kg backup
DeleteI know but darko also felt like boston wasnt given him a opportunity to play anyway. I wouldve kept him just cause its a long season and u never know wat could happen. Like the trade tho, makes sense
DeleteBass+Lee+Mello for BIG AL or josh smith
ReplyDeleteRondo for big Al and Burks!
ReplyDeleteAs a jazz fan, why would I want any of those slappers for Big Al?
ReplyDeleteSign kenyon martin he is a free agent and is beast
ReplyDeleteThey wouldn't cause kmart is injury prone.
