Blake to miss more time

The Los Angeles Lakers have announced that point guard Steve Blake will need to undergo abdominal surgery and is expected to be out an additional 6-8 weeks.
And this is news? I don't know how much he can help this team. They obviously need to play better defense, hit free throws, trade Gasol and stop Kobe from throwing up 30-35 shots per game. This is not the Kobe Bryant Lakers, team ball wins games.

ReplyDeleteWhats up Preach? Yep he has taken 30 shots this season. For the most part, 27, 29 shots per. But I don't know why they wont pickup Delonte, he's an upgrade from Blake.
ReplyDeleteHes avg around 20 shots a game. If he was shooting that much then he would avg well over 30 a game with the high % hes shooting. Look it up
DeleteMy bad, 20 is his average, although he has had games where he shot way too much. 28 vs indiana, 27 vs orlando, 24 vs phoenix an 23 vs clips an 3 of the 4 they lost. Its just my personal opinion that he shoots too much.

DeleteWell i think its because nobody wants to take the shot.meta doesn't shoot that good,morris is not yet up for the moment,pau not wanting to shoot and i don't know what the hell is with howard just getting 8-12 points sometimes this season..if shot block is winding down its kobe who's gotta shoot and take the blame if don't make it.there's just not much help offensively
