Reports indicate that Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green will not participate in tonight's game versus the NBA Champion Miami Heat due to being sent home (rest) by head coach Gregg Popovich. The foursome were reportedly spotted leaving Miami around lunch time via Southwest Airlines.
For rest? This should not be allowed. People pay tickets, networks pay for air time for this highly anitcipated match up. And greg just throws all that away for rest? I really dont see how this is acceptable.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I understand pop resting his boys but not n a game people have been starvng to c.
DeleteThats retarded,,as much as I hate these two teams, they play real good an are good, I recognize that,,been waitin for these two to play see who will have the better game.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion Its messed up but Its not for rest greg is scouting. He's trying to see how the new three pt shooting but still looking to slash inside heat match up with his non stars so that when they actually play and everyone is there he knows who to pull off the bench if a star was to be hurt, ineffective, or in foul trouble. Purposely set your team up to lose so you can win when it counts and have a feel for what the heat do. Because think if it was for rest he wouldnt have let tgem fly all the way there in the first place chess not checkers.
