NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal won his last championship as a member of the Miami Heat in 2006. While speaking to the Miami Sun Sentinel, O'Neal was asked about the difficulty the Heat may face when it comes to defending their NBA Championship.
"It's all about their health," he said of the Heat's perimeter stars, "because this season as compared to last season, this one is a real season....It's going to be 80 games," he said. "Last year, I think the Heat had the advantage, because against guys like LeBron, D-Wade, 50 games, they're going to dominate pretty much every time. But 80 games, anything can happen....D-Wade has already missed a couple of games. So it's all about the health of the guys. I know if everybody stays healthy, they'll be fine...As long as those guys stay healthy, they will still be the favorites," O'Neal said of the Heat. "So it's all about their health and it it's all about their core group and staying together. Pat Riley and the management has done a great job of keeping everybody together."

Same thing I said stay healthy n we''ll be fine
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what he means real season & Miami had the advantage. I think it's was even better for the older teams like Boston. I think that's y they were so good last year, them old legs didn't half to play to many games. We will see tho.
ReplyDeleteBoston had injuries like everybody else n a tight 60 game season with little rest time on them old legs. When nobody n the east is at 100% then the advantage should go to the most talented team is wat hes sayin.
DeleteBasically the same shit everybody else said whos not a heat fan but u took it as hating. Is shaq hating?
DeleteBut yet Miami finished 2ND behind the bulls in the standings last yr. Miami went on to win because they we're jus more talented and better then everyone else. & even if d rose didn't get hurt they still wuda got beat like the yr before. & the magic jus didn't have enough.that.yr to really fuck wit the hear to be honest. & if Bosh would have not been hurt Miami wuda beat them 4-1
