Q: There have been a lot of missiles fired at Israel this week, and I saw some hit your hometown. What have you heard about the situation?
A: Gaza fired missles toward Israel, there were 250 missiles that were fired, and about 140 that hit ground. We have a defense system that Barack Obama created for us. That defense system is like a machine that basically when a missile comes toward Israel, they send another missile to hit it. A few hit my hometown last night. They hit Tel Aviv. They hit Jeruselem. It's like a war going on. It's terrorists, unfortunately. It's sad. It shouldn't be like this. It's out of our control.
Q: Is your family safe?
A: Yeah, but as far as I know. You never know what can happen. My sister's a soldier. My older brother, they might call for reserves. They called for 16,000 reserves already, most of my friends. My sister, her job is not in combat, but like I said, they hit a lot of cities right now, so no one is really safe.
Q: Is it hard to be away from Israel at this time? Or is it safer that you're not there?
A: Maybe in a way, it's like I'm there. My family is there. My friends are being called up. My brother and my sister. My hometown got hit.
Q: Are you a superstar in Israel? Like the LeBron of Israel?
A: I don't know. It's great. I go back for the National Team every summer and I enjoy every minute of it.
Q: How important is your faith to you?
A: It's very important to me. I can call myself a guy who has his own belief in God. I'm Jewish, obviousy, but I don't really talk about it a lot. I just try to keep it to myself.
