The Philadelphia 76ers were thought by many to be contenders in the Eastern Conference but at 7-5 and currently 6th in the conference the Sixers hardly look as if they can contend with the best the east has to offer. Recently Sixer's head coach Doug Collins spoke the media about the problem that's hindering the 76ers.
"We've been digging ourselves huge holes," Collins said. "We've won three first quarters, and we're 3-0 [in those games]," Collins said. "But we've lost nine first quarters. So there is this misconception that the NBA is a fourth-quarter game. Well, that's maybe when the excitement begins. But the first quarter a lot of times dictates how you are going to play."

They need bynum in the line up to take them to the next level or let bynum go when his contracts up and sign a star pf or c that isn't injury prone. Hope they get bynum in the line up though
