Sessions talks leaving Lakers

The Lakers thought they'd found their answer when they acquired point guard Ramon Sessions during the middle of last season. Sessions instead opted to leave the Lakers via free agency as he signed with the Charlotte Bobcats in the off season which will allow him to earn about $5 million a year. Sessions recently spoke with Yahoo! Sports about the change of scenery.
"It wasn't hard....Myself being around the league for six years or so, five different teams, it is what it is. I'm not worried about [what people think]. As long as the name is still on the back of the jersey, that's what I'm worrying about....It was one of those situations I looked at like, 'If I do come back what if they trade me?' " Sessions said. "There were talks about getting Deron. They always wanted the bigger-named guy. What if I get traded to a team and it's my contract year? It was one of those things that I can't say if I opted in, [Nash] wouldn't have come. They still might have tried to get him. You just never know...It's one of those things where I knew what I was getting myself into when I did it...I signed with Charlotte and the past is the past."

I believe dwight is gonna do the same thing since he hasn't signed a long term deal he will probably leave after one season

DeleteDwight aint signed a long term deal yet cause he can make more money after the season. Samething with cp3 turning down his extension. And sessions hes just not a starting PG, on any team, period. He did the lakers a favor by opting out hell they already have enough overpaid backup PG's.

Can anybody name me a good PG for the Lakers while Kobe has been playing?? I can't.. points need the ball... and with Kobe they don't have the ball enough.. so what the Lakers need is a shooter. And for the guy that said d12 is gonna sign a six year deal.. you can sign a 5 year deal max with the new CBA. Lakers can win but waiting to see the chemistry behind the team.
