Holiday to receive extension?

Reports indicate that the Philadelphia 76ers and guard Jrue Holiday have recently begin discussing a contract extension. As is now stands, Holiday is set to earn $2.674 million this season with a qualifying offer of $3.776 million for 2013-14, but the feeling within the franchise is that Holiday will reject a qualifying offer and instead enter free agency next summer as a restricted free agent. Fearing that they may lose Holiday ala Jeremy Lin is the reason that an extension has now become priority one for the franchise.
76ers better hope holiday would want to stay with them. So much potential in holiday and a solid PG.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly. I think he could be one of the best. And with his shooting, he could almost be a Chris Paul type shooter point guard.

ReplyDeleteHe ent gonna be one of the best. Above average at best a good role player. The boy has a nice shot but he don't distribute the ball enough. 4 to 5 assists more of a shooting guard average. he ent gonna be nothing like cp3.

DeleteThe only reason he averaged 5assists was because 1. He barely had any top notch shooters, (Now he'd got more weapons including bynum in the middle) and 2. He shared his role with iggy AND Lou Williams. Now that both of them are time, Jrue is the only point guard there. He will be something this year
