Indiana Pacers guard Gerald Green was once considered one of the rising stars in the NBA after entering the league in 2005.  In 2007 Green won the Slam Dunk contest and a little known fact is that he can't even palm a basketball.  Green recently spoke to the media about his remarkable NBA journey.

"I was coming out of a situation where I could take any shot and it wasn't a bad shot for me in high school," Green said. "You come into this league and there's so many bad shots. It's a matter of where you can find the good shots. I think that's where I realized going overseas that it's all about making the extra pass because it'll lead to good shots....I think my basketball IQ blows away what it was when I first came in the league....I figure if I had the same smarts that I have now earlier in my career, I'd probably still be in Boston. You live and learn and I learned off my mistakes....I feel like so many other teams overlooked me," Green said. "I don't know if they thought my character wasn't going to be right or what. I'm going to prove I'm a better professional, I'm a lot better player and I'm all about winning. I'm not about individual statistics. When you win everybody looks good."
