Dirk to miss time?

Dirk Nowitzki's season has started the same as last....with a swollen right knee.  Last season it took Dirk a couple of months to begin feeling healthy but this season the issue may be nipped in the bud early.  Reports indicate that Nowitzki may undergo surgery on his right knee if he doesn't show improvement.

“We’ll see how it responds,” Dirk said. “But the longer we wait, obviously the worse it is. If we have to do something, it’d be better to do it quick.....but we’re still hopeful that this is a temporary thing. If we relax and rest it for a week and see how it goes, then we’ll have a better idea.”
