Blake Griffin as of now is the most prominent member of the 2009 draft class to receive a contract extension. The deadline for the draft class to receive their extension is Oct 31st and in the event that no agreement is reached, the players will become restricted free agents. With no deals seemingly imminent as it currently stands, the 2013 off season may be filled with young guard talent. The talent pool could include the following:
Brandon Jennings
Tyreke Evans
DeMar DeRozan
Stephen Curry
Ty Lawson
Jrue Holiday
Jeff Teague

I don't see any reason why any of these players shouldn't get a new contract with their teams or at least an extension
ReplyDeleteTyreke Evans DeMar DeRozan Stephen Curry, they might all want to try out free agency, Evans is the only really in a tough spot because the kings are the only ones on the up rise. The raptors I don't see any hope for and curry is a great player really wish to see him in a better team. Let's see how well he can do with Bogut and just hope they can both stay healthy
DeleteTrue Sacramento is on the up n up
ReplyDeleteYeah kings have been talkin about moving Evans tho and I can definitely see jennings leaving because I dont think it can work with him and ellis
