Blazers' shooting guard Elliot Williams underwent successful surgery Friday to repair his ruptured left Achilles tendon and will miss the 2012-13 season. Williams, 23, missed his entire rookie season after having surgery on both of his knees. He appeared in 24 games in 2011-12 and averaged 3.7 points, before dislocating his shoulder March 8 and missing the rest of the season.
He still had major hoops after both knee surgeries but I'm so that's gone now. Hope he makes it back.
ReplyDeleteHe is great to watch. I was looking forward to him getting more playing time and having a breakout season. I hope he makes a full recovery.
