Thomas to Knicks?

Sources indicate that Isiah Thomas and the New York Knicks may reunite with Thomas taking a role in the Knicks front office. Apparently Thomas is hesitant to take the job despite the fact that the organization is very open to the idea of the reunion. Thomas is a close friend of Knicks owner James Dolan and he was college teammates with Knicks GM Glen Grunwald and also Knicks head coach Mike Woodson. Thomas was fired from his role as Head Coach from FIU during the spring.

Everyone gives Isiah a hard time. The team was horrible before he got their n yes they werent any better under him. But at least he tried. The teams he put together shudve done alot better then what they did. They were a bunch of overpaid under achievers. Doesn't seem much has change when they got rid of him.
ReplyDeletei was about to disagree until i thought about it u r right they r still a team with a bunch of overpaid players who dont fit talent wise. But where i do disagree is b4 that melo trade that team had alot of young talent around amare who fitted together well. Dont get me wrong im a big melo fan but im honest the knicks gave up to much for him when they could have waited ti get him n free agency and that was dolan who made that decision. So my point is i think isiah's replacement walsh did a much better job and left that team n a good spot until the owners forced that melo trade. I dont trust knicks ownership, they been fuckin up since they traded ewing and i dont know wat isiah has on dolan but i think its crazy that he basically has a lifetime job with the knicks organization. But with all that being said i believe in the current knicks roster this comin season. I believe tha players have alot to prove and they will understand there roles better this year. No lin competing with melo and stat for shots will make them a better offensive team but defense is where i worry. I know tyson is good but can he b a 1 man defense like d12?
DeleteAnd didnt they say isiah was n both dolan and melo's ear when that trade went down? It was a bad trade! They gave up 4 legit starters for 1 guy cause they didnt keep chauncey. knick fans and new yorkers need to quit bashin players all the time and start lookin at the knicks front office. If they bring isiah back and the if the knicks get off to a slow start this season then we will b hearing rumors of isiah takin over as coach by mid season. Knicks management always over react and always turing to isiah? I dont get it.
DeleteI hear u but I think Isiah got alot of unjust heat for the knicks. N walsh did a good job but alot of that was just clearing cap space. N the one big acquisition of amari to me was retarded esp when u had a similar player in david lee who had similar numbers n wudve cost u significantly less. Lee has s great upside n plays hard on both ends. N tho the knicks team they had before melo had better chemistry. That team wasn't a championship contender. N at the end of the day its that or bust in ny. The trade made for melo made sense. Chandlers contract was ending galenari is not a franchise player. I don't thinks they shudve gave up the 7 footer or felton. Im hoping they are better this year. I love my knicks. But as u eluded to I don't think the big 3 r a good fit.
DeleteIf they struggle one has to go. Its either amari or chandler. But their contracts will make that damn near impossible. So it better work.
DeleteIsiah is a retard, great player but horrible front office, idk why knicks think hes the answer, he hasnt done shit
