Rondo talks Allen departure

When Ray Allen left the Boston Celtics to join the NBA Champion Miami Heat, many fans blamed Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo after reports surfaced that there was friction between the two during last season. While speaking to the media recently, Rondo finally addressed the rumors for the first time since the Allen signing in July.
‘People act like because me and Ray didn’t get along or they think me and Ray didn’t get along that I’m a bad person or he’s a bad person,’ Rondo said. ‘No. It’s just life. If you look at your job, everyone doesn’t always get along with every co-worker they work with. It’s just part of life. People are blowing the Ray thing out of proportion. We had some words, but other than that it was no big deal. There were so many rumors like I was looking Ray off. Why would I look Ray off? That doesn’t make sense. He’s the best shooter, so why would I look him off? People can see it how they want to. They can talk to Ray. But from my standpoint, he made his decision. I don’t know why he made the decision, but he made the decision. I don’t think it had anything to do with me.’

Ray knew that the Celtics dont stand a chance against the heat and if you can't beat 'em join 'em lol....if the heat had a healthy bosh for the entire series Celtics go home in 5 games instead of 7...bosh coming back in game 4 changed that series because KG could no longer have his way inside

So u saying bosh shut k.g. down? Smh...watch the games, only thing bosh did was spread the floor and made it harder for k.g. to protect the rim against lebron and wade. C's added bigs and depth so they wont just have k.g. to play that role this season. And i say if bosh was healthy its over n 5? I say if bradley (d wade stopper) was playing and pierce and allen were 100% then the c's wouldve won n 6
DeleteI meant i say if bosh was healthy
DeleteDamn still got it wrong! U say if bosh was healthy
DeleteI'm not saying bosh shut him down but his length does bother KG more than lets say Joel Anthony and I give you credit your right about bosh spreading the floor

*2 chainz voice* "truuuu"
ReplyDeleteThe Celtics don't stand a chance? I agree that the Heat are the favorite in the East, but the C's deserve more credit than that. I know that the Heat had Bosh out for a few games in 2012 playoff series, but the Celtics had way more injuries. Paul Pierce and Ray Allen were limping around, Avery Bradley was out, Jeff Green was out, not to mention some reserves like Greg Wilcox. And even still, it was a close series.
ReplyDeletei do agree if Celtics were healthy, they would have beat the heat.. but we'll just have to wait for this season!
ReplyDeleteEven if the rumors were true, it just shows that Ray had his head in his ass and couldn't acknowledge that Rondo runs shit on that team. They can't expect to take on other teams if they're too busy fighting amongst themselves.
ReplyDeleteNow why would dude say that Boston is good they had injuries like hell. Let's not forget Jeff green can score 20 a game. Lock down defender Avery Bradley gave buckets too. Jason terry isn't a better shooter than ray Allen but he is better at creating his own shoot Thats what Boston needs. An there draft picks were all big man that are good. Look out for Boston this year. They should beat heat. But there really isn't anything to talk about when it comes to the NBA because the Lakers are winning 3 straight hahaha.
DeleteOnce Boston gets going, I agree they can beat the Heat. If the Lakers perform as well on the court as they look on paper, they'll be the team to beat. I may be a Celtics fan, but I'm not gonna front and say they got the Lakers no problem. lol
DeleteIts probably not rondos fault ray left but it damn sure it didnt help the situation, rondo is known for his bad attitude on and off the court, he had his moments with rivers, but hes such a great player that they put up with his attitude in exchange of his talent
