I do too. He deserves more respect than he's gotten despite what u may feel about his personality.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree.
ReplyDeleteThe best little man I have eva seen on a bball court. Somebody should atleast call him n for a workout. No doubt he can still b a explosive 6th man for somebody if his mind rite.
ReplyDeleteI hope he does good...the nba did him wrong
ReplyDeleteTru the nba did do him wrong Orlando need to give him a call to be a back up for nelson and jj
ReplyDeleteI wish the suns would call him
ReplyDeleteThe dbag would still be playing but has such a ego and attitude that he can't come off the bench. His fault for it All. I loved him to but he did dumb things
ReplyDeleteThe fact is that is was the NBA that did him wrong... So the NBA won't let him back in, as sad as that is because AI was the best pound for pound ballplayer ever, his numbers were incredible and no one could stop him, considering his height, that's incredible.

Good fit for the rockets
ReplyDeleteYa Allen iverson backing up Jeremy Lin. That's like peyton manning backing up tim Tebow. Get Outa here joker, dude is old, and he wants to win a championship to cap off his amazing career. If hes willing to play for veteran's minimum, the heat or thunder as back up pg, at least in Miami he has the opportunity to start maybe. But his personality will need a face lift if he wants to go to OKC.

The comparison between a.i and peyton was horrible you dummy .. first of all a.i ain't no peyton and Tim tebow a backup his damn self.. a.i isn't the same he can't run with okc..Miami don't need him let alone want him.. if he couldn't do shit with the nuggets ..his value is not gonna be the same.. and i said rockets because their in a rebuilding stage and they have some nice rookies and enough playing time to offer.and maybe he could teach Lin a crossover or two
DeleteBro ur retarded. My comparison was that both manning and iverson are two of the nests to ever play their sport. And iverson backing up a hyped nobody like Lin, is the same chance manning would back up a hyped nobody like Tebow. And u can't be serious... AI can't run with OKC! Wtf their backup pg was Derek "old n slow" fisher. Fuc rebuilding, he wants to win, plus he's gunna need some veteran leaders to keep him n check. N finally AI was great with Denver u should check his numbers. He took em farther than melo did by his self, and took philly to the finals by himself.

He a veteran his damn self so why should he need another veteran to follow? He a grown ass man..and if he need somebody to keep him in check maybe hes not considered a veteran.. more like a child that needs to be babysitted .. when he took Philly he was doin his thang i give him that but were was the competition in the east? No where! Thats why they got swept in the finals.. gtf outta here
DeleteA. I. has too much ego and pride to ever accept anything less than what he thinks he is worth. Unfortunately he thinks he is still a top tier starter. Not true. The nuggets gave him more of a shot than anybody should have and he burned that. Than his original stomping grounds called him (76ers) and said we'll take a chance on you than he started a bunch of drama. Then he went overseas and did the same thing over there. He was a great player. And he could add much to his legacy as one of her would get out of his own damn way. The league didn't to squat to him that Allen didn't put himself in position for to be done to him. Not a hater. Dude had the sickest crossover. If he would just calm the hell down, someone would take a chance on him and could play a couple more years with a club but probably not a contender.
ReplyDeleteI agree and im a big time A.i. Fan. But I dont c how u boys keep sayin its the nba fault? He had second chances n memphis and philly. he still had problems off the court and he wasnt cool wit commin off bench n either spot and u rite he didnt do rite overseas. But I just feel like them were not good fits for him, 2 young teams with loaded back courts. A.i. Needs another shot on a championship team with veteran leaders who will hold him accountable and guys he will respect and want 2 play for. A.i. Deserves another shot 2 atleast go out on his own terms tho. He carried philly for damn near a decade and off the court he was as big as a icon as m.j, kobe or lebron
DeleteExactly Preach. A.I. is one of the NBAs greatest players ever! If he comes back it will be to a contender.

Practice? Comon this is practice
ReplyDeleteA.i will be a nice fit for lakers
ReplyDeleteBoy hell naw.. just because the Lakers are a good team doesn't mean he's a good fit.. him and Kobe wouldn't be able to work together trust me.. thats why they got a PG in Nash something iverson is not.. they have two different playing styles an the style that fits for l.a is Nash style.. iverson isn't really all that besides his crossover .. when he was shining the east really wasn't shit.. nothin like how it is now.. how you think he landed on the nuggets .. when shit started to get real in the east they seen they had a better star to build around in iguadola so they let a.i go.. i ain't shittin on iguadola but......haha i think u get were im going with that
ReplyDeleteTrue Allen Iverson fan right here still have his rookie card this guy was the best little man in the game he has guys copying his style like derrick rose and D wade just pay attention u will see a little bit of AI in them
ReplyDeleteknick fan jerry)
Isn't that what an agent and a manager is for??? This dude that desperate for work??
ReplyDeleteHey he's broke. He had a gambling n drinking problem from my understanding. Dont know how true that is. N his divorce didnt help. Sad tho. U wud think he's good enuf to play on some team. Cant tell me he's not better then alot of players out there now. He said he wud play for minimum n come off bench. He deserves more respect then what he's getting. I understand tho y gms r hesitant on signing him. He deserves another shot tho
ReplyDeleteAi my fav player ever... I don't understand why he can't find a team.... maybee his size.. idk... but ai would b the perfect 6 man or back up pg... ai is better than more than half of the pg in the leauge now at his age.... I just don't get it... and he would sell a lil tickets.... I really am starting to think the nba is blackballin my nigga....
ReplyDeleteHes not a back up pg period.. His mentality says sg but now hes old and undersized at both positions.. anyone seen paul george lately, 6'10 defensive lock down.. kd damn near 7' .. but size isnt everything i know but his quickness is fading... he could help someone though no doubt.. Not an LA or Miami bc steve nd kobe need the ball like lebron. Just no room for him. But maybe someone with a good organization for his ego sake. Boston? Mavericks? Haha but anywhere would be fun to watch.. i think everyone knows he's got a lot to prove. Thats how hes always played #givehimachanceNBA
ReplyDeleteI could see him I Dallas, but not Boston. Maybe Atlanta, they just lost a big scorer for there team, they could contend, and plus I think AI is from there.

How would he not be a good fit for the Lakers? If he comes off the bench while Kobe and Nash are sitting out, he would put up good numbers for us. Maybe with Kobe on the court they wouldn't work out too well but he would definitely help the Lakers out. It's like a Westbrook and Durant combo.
ReplyDeleteHope he comes back to nba
ReplyDeleteLakers would b perfect fit. He could back up nash and kobe and provide sum punch off the bench. And I dont think hes gonna let them guys down, nash doesnt play the mins like he use 2 and do u really think A.i. Is gonna try 2 out shine kobe after hes already been out the league the last couple of years?
