Will the Rockets lose cap space?

As it currently stands, the Houston Rockets may lose a chunk of their valued cap space if the Knicks decide not to match Houston's offer to guard Jeremy Lin and if the Bulls decline to match a similar offer made by Houston to Omer Asik. If the two deals are passed upon, Houston could still make a trade for Dwight Howard but they wouldn't be able to acquire any of the other bad contracts that the Orlando Magic would likely try to put on them.

Lol Wat is the fuckin plan here? Im tellin u they dont have 1. Its like every year whoever is the biggest free agent out there, or whoeva is on the trade block they want em. Hell if they do get d12 or lin dont b suprise next offseason when they try 2 trade both of them for cp3 or whoeva else is comin off a breakout year
ReplyDeleteLMFAO!!!!!! Bro they have no fuckin clue im glad im not a Houston fan
ReplyDeleteI hope the hawks get Howard
ReplyDeleteHey preach ...I know u a lakers fan too ! So real shit what u think the chances of d12 shooting this way ?
ReplyDeleteI still say houston but if he come 2 l.a.... championship! He not better than bynum offensively but nash will get him easy looks. D12 is a 1 man defense I cant front on that.
DeleteI hope d12 comes over on a 3 team deal wit la orlando and cleveland ! Where well get howard cleveland will get bynum and orlando will get theyrw cap space n draft picks for whoever they think they gonna get cuz u know damn well orlando ain't gonna land nobody...lol and what's up wit houston it seem like they would trade they're whole team and arena just to get dwight . D12 good don't get me wrong but he ain't really a game changer like kobe and lebron ..but ya I think d12 would b a good fit ...id b happy just to knock miami off they're high hoarse ! Haha ......hollllllaaaaaa !!!
DeleteWe should pick up oj mayo too cuz we need a stronger bench
DeleteTheres only two options for magic. Get the best deal and trade to rockets or mavericks. I doubt the lakers cuz bynum already said hes not signing with magic, why would they take that risk. Get it done houston is the best and smartest offer.
ReplyDeleteNot cause Im just a lakers fan even thiugh I am but Howard should go to LA. Great centers play in LA. Wilt,Kareem,Shaq hell even Bob Mikan was a laker(when they were the minniapolis lakers) anf the Magic would get the most back I say LA trades Pau and Bynum for Turkoglu,Richardson and Howard. Allowing Orlando to shed cap space while having a back up plan (Gasol)if Bynum doesnt resign
ReplyDeleteU must be crazy if u really think bynum can out due Dwight. This men can catch a alley or tip dunk from anywhere. N out rebound bynum any day would be nice if he would've got on the nets. D Will-G Wallace-D Howard
ReplyDeleteHawks!
ReplyDeleteI c laker haters know wats up if d12 comes 2 l.a.. But if d12 already dont want the pressure of playin n l.a. then why trade for him? Houston still got a first round pick from rapts and kevin martin, plus there picks from this years draft. I think d12 bitch ass gonna n up n houston win lin. Nets cant trade lopez now .
ReplyDeleteThat's what they get not minding their fucking business
ReplyDelete@the basketball guru. Your fucking stupid. Why would orlando trade torkoglu, richardson, AND HOWARD for only pau and bynum. I'd rather have howard than bynum. Howard is worth more than that. SMFH @ laker fans!!
ReplyDeleteD12 need to come to L.A but he said he don't wanna play for L.A
ReplyDeletePreach you fuckin stupid if you say bynum better than Dwight
ReplyDeleteu fuckin stupid for not being able 2 read. I said he better offensively but id rather have dwight because defense.
DeleteI guess cats wasn't watching the games when bynum was giving howard the biz. I wud take bynum any day. Problem is he's mad immature n has the randy moss syndrome. Howard is a great defender but too much of a liability on offense. He has no offensive game n he's horrible at the line. As much as I like howard hes not a guy i think u shud build a franchise around. That's the problem they had in orlando.
ReplyDeleted12 a lame
ReplyDeleteHoward needs to go to a team like la or bk. Where u have established players with great point guards n he doesn't have to b the main offensive focus.
ReplyDeleteIf you wanna win a championship in this league, you gottta go small with your lineups and spread the floor. Having a center like Dwight is convenient when it comes to starring fast breaks and locking down the middle. But in the playoffs the game slows down and it comes down to how your offense does in the half Court. For example, Okc. Outstanding shot blocker and help side defender in serge ibaka he creates fastbreaks and stops them. But when you need him to score in the halfcourt he's just gonna be a liability because he's offensively challenged. Just like we saw in the finals. But on the other team, Chris bosh.. not as good a defender as ibaka and not half the shotblocker. But he's a descent defender that can spread the floor and bring a new dimension to your offense in the halfcourt, because his game extends all the way to the three point line. Even if he isnt scoring, he's considered a threat, and he's gonna open up the middle when his man isnt in the paint. It's been proven, you dont need a great center to win the big one.
ReplyDeleteIdk if small ball works. It worked this year but that's bc u have arguably 3 of the top 12 players on one team. Most of the great centers have ring. Small ball is not the recipe for ships. History has proven that
ReplyDeleteBarkley
DeleteBarkley isn't a center
ReplyDeleteYea and barkley never won shit. But both u guys make good points and I think this year will c if the league has really changed or not. It obvious the heat wanna win playin small ball and me being laker fan im use 2 teams ending games wit 2 legit bigs on the floor so im not a fan of it. But it mite be time 2 adjust? Like i said heat will try 2 win that way again next year not sayin it wont work but this year will b full year so teams will have time 2 prepare for that. Sum teams will adjust, make changes 2 roster, or add a zone d, and sum like my lakers will continue 2 play big. If im a gm or coach i make sure i start game off big but then i feel every team needs a 4 man who can shoot and play a little perimeter d comin off the bench
