Heat's Miller to undergo surgery

Heat guard/forward Mike Miller stated yesterday that later this week he will see a doctor about his ailing back. Miller has 3 years and $18.6 million left on his contract and may decide to retire if he does have to undergo surgery. Miller lists the odds of him having to have surgery at 50/50.
“The past four days have been awesome....It’s the first time I haven’t felt pain — lots of bulging disks.....It will be hard to walk away,” Miller said. “But I have to make a good decision. I want to be able to play with my kids.”
