Will Lawson receive a contract extension?

Ty Lawson was a huge part of the success that the Denver Nuggets achieved this season and almost led the Nuggets to a 1st round upset of the Lakers.  Next season will be the last season under Lawson's rookie contract and he is hoping that he can receive an extension from the Nuggets this off-season.

"It's definitely a goal."  Lawson told the Denver Post "I want to be here long term. I'm pretty sure my agent and Masai (Ujiri, the Nuggets' executive vice president of basketball operations) will talk this summer."
