Derrick Rose has yet to have surgery

When both Derrick Rose and Iman Shumpert tore their ACL's on April 29th, the basketball world was in a state of shock and awe.  Shumpert underwent surgery on Wednesday to repair the ligament in his left knee, but Rose doesn't have a surgery scheduled yet.  With that being said, the Bulls would like for Rose to have a fuller range of motion, the swelling to subside, and his quadriceps muscle to strengthen before undergoing said surgery.  The tentative timetable to Rose's surgery will be 3-4 weeks from now.  It is understood that once the surgery is completed, Derrick Rose will be out of action for up to nine months and he didn't travel with the team to Philadelphia.
