Can the Magic avoid a second year of the Dwight Indecision?

In what may considering the first smart move in a while for the management team of the Orlando Magic, sources indicate that the Magic will request that Dwight Howard sign a long term extension with the team before next season's training camp to avoid the mess that Howard brought upon the team this season.  With that being said, this would make the upcoming off-season the most important off-season in Magic history.  In the event that Howard doesn't sign the extension before training camp, the Magic will be forced to move the franchise center.
