There are times in life when one doesn't appreciate what they have until it's gone and that's exactly the way Mavericks forward Lamar Odom felt about his teammates. Odom had been away from the team to tend to his "ill" father but made his return during last evenings game against the Jazz. After the game Odom addressed the media.
"It felt good to be back, playing basketball, doing what I'm so blessed to have done for so long.....I just told (teammates) to stick with me, and that at this point in time in my life I need them...It was really personal and it was something I had to tend to," he said. "Mark Cuban's a great owner for understanding. There are times when we have to fix what is going on off the basketball court in order to fix what's going on on the court."

I know Lamar will be ok @ Dallas. I like him as a player, he is really down to earth, humble & very professional. So good luck Lamar..... Go heat lol
ReplyDeleteLamar is a great athlete I wish the Lakers wouldn't have traded him! But I do say this has been lost in Dallas and hopefully he can find himself soon. More power to u Lamar...Go Lakers!!!
