Dwight Howard waives "ETO"

Dwight Howard has waived the ETO clause in his contract allowing him to forgo becoming a free agent at season's end. The pressure is now on the Orlando Magic to build a championship contending team in the off-season or we will have this situation all over again next season. One thing to keep in mind, the Orlando Magic will not have optimal cap space until the summer of 2013 when the contract of Hedo Turkoglu comes off the books. Finding a trade partner for Turkoglu would allow the Magic to build a better team faster but the clock is still ticking on the franchise.
