Joakim Noah blames contract for slow start

While the Bulls got off to a hot start to the season, Joakim Noah didn't and was even questioned by some in the media. Noah recently revealed that the $60 million dollar contract extension that he signed in 2010 effected his play because he was trying too hard to live up to it. Despite the fact that the extension was signed in 2010, it actually kicked in this season.
"Yeah, no question, I thought about that," Noah said. "Sometimes you feel like because you're given so much money you're expected to do things. That's not the right mentality to have as a player....I have to play my game. I have to have fun out there. If I don't, I'm not the same player."
