Could New York City land the 2015 NBA All-Star Game?

After recently undergoing an $800 million renovation, Madison Square Garden could be ready to host the 2015 NBA All-Star Game.  The final stage of the Garden renovation should be finished in time for the 2014 game but those in the know feel as if New York won't get chosen due to the fact that the Super Bowl will be held in East Rutherford two weeks prior.  The Knicks haven't hosted an All-Star game since the 1999 season but sources believe that 2015 will be a lock for New York.
