Yao Ming dips into politics

Yao Ming who retired at the age of 31 due to injuries is becoming a politician by joining the advisory body to Shanghai's legislature.  The committee doesn't have any real power but Yao is to attend meetings regularly and he can make suggestions for the advisory committee and government departments.
