Jeff Green seeking return to Celtics

With the surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm a success and behind him, Jeff Green would like to return to the NBA next season if 100% healthy and resume his career with the Celtics.  Green was inline for a $9 million dollar contract extension but it was rescinded when his condition was discovered during training camp.  Celtics  Head Coach Doc Rivers stated that he'd like to see Green back in the lineup.

"I think Jeff has an important future value to the Celtics. He has a very positive feeling about Boston. I think that it will be one of a short list of teams that he will talk to when the time comes."
